Hey, manuto i have a question, suggestion regarding normal strike speeds. What are they based on? I checked the max normal strike speeds on FH and BH. Correct me if the following numbers are wrong.
On free mode i find max FH normal strike as 122 kmh BH as 119 kmh. On realistic mode it is 119kmh for FH and 116 for BH. I find normal strike forehand max speed low. In real life data's about average forehand and backhand speeds are not exactly the same meaning as normal strike in TE4. Because i know that average shot includes defending shots, slices aswell as acceleration shots. But i assume this is reflecting to normal strike speed so they are based on that. In real life average forehand speed is 125kmh(78mph) and for some players it is up to 130kmh. (Mostly they are ao stats but i checked few more).
Compared to FH, Backhand strike speed quite high in the game imo. Because it is more than average backhand speed. Which is 111-112 kmh probably in real life could be less aswell. There are even some matches where average fh and bh shared(Like IW 2019 Federer Thiem) some atp article.
Yeah i know there are slices included aswell as defensive shots but i still believe the gap between Forehand and Backhand normal strikes in the game is quite low. While Forehand is less compared to real life, backhand is more than real life averages. I believe either Forehand(normal strike) should get some buff or backhand should decreased. Could be like 125 kmh max FH on free mode instead of 122 kmh. 122 kmh for realistic mode instead of 119. I think gap should be higher What do you think?
Note: I read your dev blog. My numbers are based on 100 skill points on FH and BH.
