Hi,

i wanted to continue my career today but after starting TE4 the save state wasn´t loaded for some reason and the career starts at the very beginning.
Yesterday after playing a career match i quit TE4 normally and today the save state is lost.

How can that be and is there a way to restore the save state?

I have latest TE4, Scoreboard, XKT and Anim´s Mod installed.

Hello,

the XKT recently got an update that prevents loading previously saved games.

You should be able to find the previous XKT player base on their Discord server.

found the ini files provided on the discord server but unfortunately this doesnt work.
Game is still loading without the last career save and career starts at the beginning with Mark Limon
Still waiting for a reply on the discord server and a workaround solution

Do you remember what XKT version did you have before updating to the latest one ?

If you installed the file correctly, maybe the new Marc Limon career had been saved and thus you should manually load an older saved game in World Tour -> Load game.

Hello manutoo,

unfortunately i dont know which xkt version i had installed. actually it shows me version 3.1

i also wasnt aware that there was an update. maybe it was installed in the background as i didnt initiated a manual update. Maybe the update was during my match which i played and which worked before?

when i go to world tour -> load game i have four save files and they are all marked as "invalid".

Still got no answer how to restore this.... i am afraid that i have to start a new career which is very frustrating.

Could you send me a Bug Report from the Loading screen ? (HowTo => topic5-31732.php )

Like this, I could tell you what player base the game is seeing and maybe what player base was used for your saved games.

Note : normally the game updates the Mod only if you go into Mod management (or maybe I didn't understand something )

This also happened to me. Cannot load because it says the tour base is invalid. Is there anyway to fix this or is it all just lost because of the update?

i´m sorry but through the topic i dont get it to make a bug report from the loading screen.
When i press "roll" in the loading screen a folder opens with the datas and save files.
Are these the ones you requested?

I got your report ; I confirm you it's a Players.ini issue, and you didn't install correctly the fix from the Discord server as I got the current XKT player base.

Anyway, the best would be to create your own little Mods with the 3 Tour bases in it, so you'd be sure they don't change when XKT is updated, example the player base should be like this :
Mods\MySuperMod\Ini\Players.ATP.ini . (use the player base from the fix)

And then make it depend on XKT (HowTo on "4)" section => topic60-34687.php ).

yes, maybe its due to the fact that i copied back the backup ini files after i have tried the ones from the discord server.

I have copied the files from discord now and have send you a new bug report from the loading screen.
