Is it possible to play with two players who are starting in different play periods. Let's say I play with junior Federer starting in 1998 and in his late carrer I want to simultaneously start playing with Alcaraz in 2018? Is there a way I could do that? The main reason would be to have a solid base of tournament stats when playing with Alcaraz (past winners, head-to-heads, slam race, ...).

no, sorry, it's not possible.

No worries. Thanks for the reply. If I remember correctly, this kind of thing is possible in TEM2, where you can contract younger players after a good bit of playing time.

Yes, you could do that with TEM2 (which might be coming into TE4 in the foreseeable future) ; you'd need to make the default contract length very long to be sure to not lose Alcaraz, and raise the career length to 40 or 50 years before starting a new game, to be able to play both careers.

Maybe I'm not up to date, but there is a chance that you are going to integrate TEM2 in TE4?

Yes, it's planned. I'm not sure when I'll do it, though, but hopefully soon as it's a recurring need.
