Hey,

I just tried to start the game and as soon as it loads I get the message ''The game crashed''. I can still navigate the menus, but players are missing/invisible in the Training Club and when I tried to start the new season all of a sudden I had a screen asking me to enter coach name and edit talents?! I never played TEM, but to me this looks like a menu from TEM, not Tennis Elbow...

I'm posting a screenshot of the files I have in my Mods folder. I don't have any other files other than these three in my 'Mods' folder.

What is the max number of entries in the RankPerYear parameter? I have edited that in the Players.WTA.Ini file and some players now have 19 entries/years, is that over the limit? Could that be the cause of the problem? Not sure why would that cause players to become invisible in the training club menu though...

EDIT: Just did a test. I cut/pasted the Players.WTA.Ini file from the Ini folder to my Desktop, loaded the game and it's back to normal. Damn! Now I'm heart-broken as I did quite a bit of editing of the 'RankPerYear' for numerous players.

Hello,

I checked your Players.WTA.ini from your Bug Report and the game didn't crash.

So I checked more carefully the info from the crash you got and I guess the issue is that you have the .ini opened in a program that doesn't let other programs to read the file at the same time ; in other words, close the program to edit the .ini before launching TE4.

Else, you can put as many as you want of RankPerYear, there's no limit on them unlike in TE2013.

I was pretty sure I closed the program I was using (Word). However, I just pasted back the ini file into my Mods/Ini folder and made sure I closed Word before starting TE4 and YOU GOT IT RIGHT! It works! So I guess I didn't close Word when the crash happened. Phew, I'm so happy all the editing didn't go to waste. )

i got that bug when trying to do emerson cup in world tour it said the game crashed

try again ; it seems to be a random bug that doesn't happen when you re-launch the game (if it's the same one that I got many Bug Reports about ).
