Issue with exposure

Postby matservant » 22 Jul 2023, 22:13

Hello, do you know how to adjust exposure without having impact on 2D courts ?
I would just like to adjust exposure on 3D players and court lines, but not on 2D courts backgrounds.
Thanks in advance

Hello,

no, it's not possible ; you have to change your Court texture to compensate for the exposure instead.

Oh okay. It's a bit embarassing, since I feel default exposure is already too much, it's very bright, it wasn't like that on previous versions of the game...
I don't wanna have to change every court texture I play on :(
Maybe you could just lower the default exposure setting a bit ? So if people want it more bright, it will make the courts brighter as well. Just an idea.
Thanks for reply anyway :)

The default exposure is fine on my monitor. Each monitor is different so there's no best default exposure. (or it's hard to find it without testing on many monitors)

My thought is more that a default value of a setting should be a non-visible thing : exemple, default value of saturation shouldn't be already a bit too much saturated.
So if people want it more saturated (or exposed), they will increase the default value. I think the issue is that the default visible is already visible as a positive value, and I don't think it's about my monitor because as I said it wasn't over exposed like that on the previous versions

You can change exposure in Settings -> Video & Camera. Check both are at 0.
