Hello everyone,
Do you think it would be possible to import this running animation into Tennis Elbow 4 ?
I feel it looks a bit better than the current running animation in the game

Hello,

if you have the .max file, you can convert it to TE4 in a few minutes once you have learned the process : topic60-33190.php .

If you don't have the .max file, you can try to contact its author, but it might be quite hard, after all these years... :fear:

Oh I don't have this file... To be fully honest, I think this is the last thing that is missing to this game to be perfect tennis game, in my opinion : a great running animation, fluid and more realistic, and a better animation system overaul. I would love to help but I'm not motion designer :(

Wow it looks stunning... very fluid and realistic, the gameplay will be improved so much !
When is the Playstation release scheduled ? :D

hate to be that guy, but even if this running animation is more realistic, it feels too "heavy". What i mean by this is that by having the back so tilted forwards and the steps so short it feels like the character is trying to trail something very heavy. although when normally sprinting it is normal to tilt forward in the first meters to get the momentum going, in order to accelerate faster and more fluidly we need to get our back straight. of course the distance is very short here but i feel like the inclination you have in this animation is just a bit too much. Great work as always, keep it up!

I agree with you ; I'm not a big fan of these anims : it's the default set coming with the animation plugin I bought (as well as the plugin control example, which feels heavier than TE4). However, I'm glad people like them because it's encouraging. I'll have to redo a complete set (with motion capture), but I'm not sure how the result will be though ; I direly hope it'll be at least a tad better than these default ones... :fear:

The 1st step will be to plug this default set on the TE4 controls to see how it feels like this, and if I can make the running animation mix with the strike animation correctly, like it's currently done. If yes, then it'll be motion-capture time. :blackeye:
