Players.WTA.Ini changes not saving properly?

Postby HotWingsFTW » 05 Feb 2023, 06:08

Hello,

I've noticed an annoying issue with the world tour. Months ago, I went through the top 100 of the WTA player base to give them accurate appearances (as much as the character creator will allow), stats, stroke animations (as accurate as I can get them with the provided animations), strategies, etc. in an effort to make the tour feel somewhat more realistic. The problem is that some of my changes, such as appearance and grunt, stick, but other ones seem to be completely ignored in the World Tour.

Example: I configured a player to have a two handed backhand in the Training Club, and I copy the outfit code (with the two handed backhand) into the Players.WTA.Ini file. However, when I run into this player during the tour, she has a one handed backhand?? And of course when I copy her outfit code from the .ini back into the game in Training Club, she has a two-handed backhand like she's supposed to.

Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

Hello,

the Outfit code doesn't contain the handing state.

Use the "Hand" entry to define the 2HBH.

And as usual, the solution to my issue is very simple. Thanks as always :)
